Crisis Skylight London

Crisis Skylight London is an award winning education, training and employment centre for homeless and vulnerably housed people in East London. The wide range of courses including art, music and drama, bike maintenance and carpentry, literacy, numeracy, IT and ESOL help people to restore their well-being, regain confidence, build their basic skills and raise their aspirations.

From 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015, Crisis Investors helped us make contact with 2,480 homeless people, 283 were assisted into work and 964 received qualifications – crucial to help them get into full time work; some members even earned more than one qualification!

There are four terms during the year, each lasting ten weeks, and at the end of term we hold a performance event to showcase some of the workshops and performers, and we display the art work of all our members who are involved with creative arts in a week-long exhibition

We also are open for a Summer School offering short courses in creative and performing arts as well as activities to stimulate the body, mind and spirit
